Ch 3: I Am Not Your Stella: Alex Gaskarth Story
Seeing the way Alex looks at her makes my doubts fade. I smile as he looks down at our beautiful baby girl. It’s nice to say ‘our’ anything. I just hope I can forever. Al: I’m off tour for the summer. I can stay down here and help with her.” Me: Alex I can’t ask you to do that.” Al: Its not a question. I’m going to.” I smirked. Me: Fine mr. Bossy pants.” He stuck his tongue out at me. Al: Well of course! Mind if I introduce her to the band mates?” Me: I don’t mind if you don’t.” He smiled and jumped out the car with Elia in his arms and a wide smile on his face. We walked onto the tour bus were the other boys were. Ja: aww! Who’s the cutie!?” Al: The names Alex.” Ja: Not you dumbass!” Jack slapped Alex across the back of his head. Alex just laughed. Al: This little princesses name is Elia, and this is her mommy, YN.” Ri: I don’t mean to sound rude but why did you bring them up here?” Alex’s face went white. He cleared his throat and spoke. Al: two years ago I met YN backstage at our concert. She was gorgeous and I had a boner problem. We went on the tour bus and I never spoke to her again. Biggest mistake. Well she ended up becoming pregnant and so this little beauty is mine.” The bus fell quiet. Few minutes later Jack busted up laughing. Ja: Man quit fucking with us and tell us the truth.” Alex didn’t smile. Al: I am.” Za: O shit!” Ri: ever heard of this handy little thing called a condom?” I had heard enough. I grabbed Elia and fled off the tour bus. Tears formed in my eyes. Al: YN wait!” I heard Alex call after me. He caught up to me. Al: they are just being stupid.” Me: well it hurts, Alex. It really does.” Al: I know.” He said apologetically. Me: Now wh-” Ri: YN, Alex, look I’m really sorry. We didn’t mean to be such asses. It’s just how we are.” Ja: yes sir.” Za: jack, not now.” Ri: we good?” Rian apologized. Me: we’re good.” I smiled. Ja: can we go get some pie now?” Za: jack!” Ja: what?” I laughed. Ja: Taco Bell sounds nice to. Taco taco burrito!” Jack continued to sing that lovely song all the way back to the bus. Me: I have to go. It’s way past her bed time.” Al: let me come with.” Me: you sure?” Al: 100%” Me: alright, just don’t complain about my tiny apartment.” He laughed.
Once at my place Alex put Elia in her pajamas and placed her in her crib. Al: her room is nicer then the entire place.” Me: I want nothing but the best for her. If that means less for me, so be it.” Alex looked at me in awe. Al: you are an amazing mother.”
